  • The GED is a stepping stone that makes it possible to move on to post-secondary education, which can significantly boost a person’s earning potential.
  • Trade and technical schools prepare students for skilled occupations such as cosmetology, massage therapy, construction trades and more. They can also prepare students to become medical assistants, computer technologists, bookkeepers and more.
  • Two-year colleges, such as community colleges, offer Certificate programs and Associate’s degrees. Many four-year colleges and universities offer Associate’s degrees, Bachelor’s degrees, as well as Master and Ph.D degrees. You have options!
