GED® Test Age Waiver Information
Age Waiver Process
Students who reside in or attend school in Palm Beach County are eligible to apply for an age waiver. They do not need to be registered in an Adult Education class.
The following steps must be completed before the Florida GED® Testing Program Eligibility Exception Form can be filled out.
1. Create an account at GED.com
2. Complete the Age Waiver Package
a. GED® Age Waiver Application (PBSD 0944) completely filled out, signed by parent and student, and notarized
b. Official withdrawal from the last school attended.
c. Copy of the GED Ready ™ The Official Practice Test scores. Scores for each sub-test must be a minimum of 150.
d. Florida Testing Eligibility Exception Form (with the top half filled out)
e. Documentation corresponding to the reason for testing

4. Once documents are approved, students will receive an e-mail from GED.com with instructions on how to proceed.
