Initially approved by the School Board on November 17, 2020. The state level platform was subsequently amended on January 20, 2021 to add three local funding requests and acknowledge the impact of FDOE Emergency Order 2020-07 on FTE and parent choice for the remainder of the 2020-21 school year.

Capital City Consulting's Ron LaFace and Megan Fay, along with federal lobbyist Rita Solnet, provided the School Board with a recorded update highlighting pertinent education-related bills passed during the 2021 State Legislative Session. The School Board participated in a Legislative Recap Board Workshop on June 23, 2021 where they discussed the recorded update and asked questions.
